Gross, Shuman, Brizdle and Gilfillan attorney Leslie Mark Greenbaum presented a program recently at the Buffalo Arts Studio titled "Artist Gallery Agreements," about agreements consigning artworks for sale and exhibition.

Catholic Academy of Niagara Falls appointed Fred Heuer and Jeannine Brown Miller to its executive board. Heuer is the assistant vice president for marketing at Niagara University. Miller is the owner of JBM Consulting, a human resources consulting services provider, and also serves as an adjunct college professor. Other board members: Canonical administrator, the Rev. Stephen Denig; board chairmen, Dr. Paul Vermette, the Rev. Robert Hughson, the Rev. Duane Klizek, Anthony Restaino, Charles Marra, Robert LaBarbera and Donald Armstrong. Catholic Academy of Niagara Falls is a regional Catholic school with two campuses: Elementary Campus (Pre-k through grade 5) at 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, and the St. Dominic Savio Middle School Campus (grades 6 through 8) at 504 66th St., Niagara Falls.

The Emblematic Company, an Eden-based company that sells custom-designed military emblems and public service memorial magnets, now offers its entire line of memorial service emblems in both magnetic and nonmagnetic styles. The emblems can be attached, easily removed and reattached to hearses that have nonmetallic doors using a special Low-Tac adhesive.

New Buffalo Impact, a Tonawanda-based home energy performance contractor, was recognized by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority for outstanding performance by a contractor. NYSERDA cited the work NBI does with the EmPower New York program.



Evans Bank and The Evans Agency collected and donated six barrels of nonperishable food items to the annual Food 2 Families Food Drive to benefit the Food Bank of WNY. The barrels were set up at all bank and insurance locations over the last few weeks. Food donations were made by Evans employees, as well as customers and community members.
