NICOLAI, Linda (Knight)

NICOLAI - Linda (nee Knight)
Passed away peacefully at her home June 30, 2010; she was born in Baltimore, MD; she met her husband, Phil at the University of Pennsylvania, and in 1972 they moved to Buffalo. She was a speech language pathologist, ordained minister and Senior Teacher in the Sufi Order International, leader of the Dances of Universal Peace, and member of the Unitarian Universalist Choir and Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Christopher (Robin) of Buffalo and David (Sarah) of Boston, MA; she is also survived by a sister, Joan Bateman of Virginia Beach, VA; and two brothers Lewis Albert Knight of Baltimore, MD and Winston Knight of Atlanta, GA. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 4, at 1:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 695 Elmwood Ave. at W. Ferry. Donations may be made in her honor to Roswell Park Cancer Center, Buffalo Hospice or the Music Program of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo. Arrangements by KEVIN M. MASON FUNERAL HOME.
