LEWISTON -- Golfers can try out the new Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course for the first time Friday.

The $25.5 million public course, designed by Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects, features a par-72 layout with five ponds that wind through a wooded parcel of land along Creek Road.

Preview rates start at $65 per person including a cart. Lewiston residents receive a 10 percent discount.

Read how the golf course fits in with the growing Seneca Nation of Indians economic plan in this story that appeared in today's City & Region section.
