Q: "The Forgotten" hasn't been on lately. Will it be returning, and if so, when?
-- Betty Campbell, Vero Beach, Fla.
A: It won't be. Despite the "star" name of Christian Slater and the producing pedigree of "CSI" franchise mentor Jerry Bruckheimer, the ABC series didn't catch on in terms of ratings, and the network opted not to renew it for a second season.
Q: I am wondering if there will be any new episodes of "Lie to Me."
-- Nancy Plahutnik, Elgin, Ill.
A: Hopefully, you've seen by now that the Tim Roth-Kelli Williams series has rejoined the Fox schedule with fresh stories on Mondays. Come fall, it will begin its third season on Wednesdays, without the show runner it had for the episodes that are finishing up on the air now: Shawn Ryan, who was the creator and executive producer of FX's "The Shield."
Q: Will my two favorite summer shows, "Raising the Bar" and "Dark Blue," be returning to TNT? And if so, when?
-- Jane Merth, Wichita, Kan.
A: "Raising the Bar" ended its run at the very end of 2009, but series star Mark-Paul Gosselaar is still in business with the cable network -- and still playing an attorney. He'll team with Breckin Meyer ("Garfield: The Movie") in the forthcoming series "Franklin and Bash," about two lawyers whose street sense helps the prestigious firm they join. As for "Dark Blue," Dylan McDermott is set to resume his TNT role as the overseer of a group of deep undercover cops starting Aug. 4.
