Arraignments are scheduled July 6 for seven people charged with crimes, including burglary, in indictments handed up Thursday by a Cattaraugus County grand jury.
Derek Dallas, 18, of Franklinville, and Cory Jones, 20, of Ellicottville, were named in separate indictments on multiple charges of third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny for crimes that included the theft of pills May 5 from the Village Pharmacy in Cattaraugus.
They also were charged with similar thefts in the towns of Franklinville and Randolph.
Shawnee Oldshield, 44, of Salamanca, was charged with second-degree assault and second-degree criminal mischief.
He is accused of using a crutch last October to inflict serious injury on a woman as she slept in her City of Olean home. He also is accused of tearing off the door of her refrigerator.
Several others were indicted on charges of driving while intoxicated and related counts.
Fritz J. Opferbeck, 30, of Salamanca, was charged with DWI and leaving the scene of a Dec. 27 accident in the Town of Salamanca.
David Minasian, 45, of Falconer, was charged with DWI and failure to signal, Aug. 17 in the City of Salamanca.
Andrew Swan, 54, of Salamanca, was charged with DWI and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle Jan. 1 in the City of Salamanca.
Todd Green, 25, of Irving, was charged with DWI, driving without a license or registration, speeding and several more traffic violations Dec. 23 in the Town of Perrysburg.
