The Village of Williamsville Garden Walk will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The starting point is outside Village Hall, 5565 Main St. It includes free admission, prizes, an art show, speakers and more. Free parking behind Village Hall.
The fifth annual Lewiston Garden Fest runs along Center Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Features include speakers, vendors, displays, gardening experts and a free garden tour. Pick up a map at the hospitality booth in Hennepin Park or in front of KeyBank on Center Street. Sponsored by the Lewiston Garden Club.
The Parkside Community Association is sponsoring its 13th annual Parkside Garden Tour of more than 50 gardens from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The tour begins at Church of the Good Shepherd, Jewett Parkway and Summit Avenue, where information and maps will be available. Suggested donation: $5. Visit www.parksidebuffalo.org.
The Evans Garden Club will hold a progressive walk through three gardens Tuesday, followed by refreshments provided by members Barbara Clark and Tressa Crehan.
The Town of Niagara Historical Society is holding a front yard garden contest. Interested residents should submit an application by July 1. Forms and contest rules are available in Town of Niagara Town Hall and also from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at 1878 Schoolhouse, corner of Lockport and Tuscarora roads. Or visit www.townofniagara.com.
