Five Spot / Quick hitters on the light side

1. A 'C' CHANGE

Former Predators captain Jason Arnott (above) was traded back to the New Jersey Devils. He felt like his career had been missing something: playing in Newark.

2. DON'T REMIND HIM

I know one present that U.S. World Cup star Michael Bradley didn't get his dad -- Team USA coach Bob Bradley -- for Father's Day: a tie.

3. IN MOTION

Tiger Woods shot a sparkling round on Saturday at Pebble Beach, a 66. But I'm pretty sure "moving day" at the Woods house took place a few weeks ago.

4. REALITY CHECK

Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is out six to eight weeks with a fractured wrist. That's the biggest jolt to fantasy owners since Leonard Nimoy turned down the last "Star Trek" sequel.

5. DOLLARS FOR DUMPLINGS

The Pittsburgh Pirates fired 24-year-old Andrew Kurtz, who dresses up as a racing pierogi at Bucs games, because the guy mocked the team on his Facebook page. Luckily for Kurtz, he gets unemployment benefits under the federal "Too annoying to fail" plan.
