The "Jersey Boys" was a box office record breaker for Shea's Performing Arts Center.
The Tony Award-winning musical grossed $1.51 million at Shea's for the week ending May 9, breaking the theater's record of $1.49 million set by Wicked, the theater has announced.
The "Jersey Boys" played its final performance at Shea's on Sunday after a nearly three-week run before it moved on to Providence, R.I.
The musical, which details the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, was the winner of the 2006 Best Musical Tony Award, the 2006 Grammy award for Best Musical Show Album and the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical.
