City accepting drop-offs of hazardous waste today

NIAGARA FALLS -- The City of Niagara Falls, in cooperation with the Niagara County Refuse District, will accept hazardous waste today at the city's public works complex, 1785 New Road.

This drop-off opportunity is open to all residents of Niagara County, but drop-offs will be accepted by appointment only. For an appointment, call the Refuse District at 434-6568.



Registration at 1 p.m. for Saturday's egg hunt

NIAGARA FALLS -- Registration for the second annual Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at the center, 1201 Pine Avenue at Portage Road.

The free egg hunt for children from ages 5 to 12 will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday on the center's front lawn.



Castellani will close Thursday through Monday

LEWISTON -- The Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University will be closed Thursday through Monday during the school's Easter recess.

The museum will resume its regular hours on Tuesday.

The museum is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, except when the university is closed. Admission is free.
