COMMUNITY FORUM: Delaware Council Member Michael J. LoCurto will host a community forum at 7 p.m. today in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 96 Jewett Parkway. Constituents can learn what projects, initiatives and legislation the district council office is working on and discuss neighborhood issues and ideas for future projects.

ARCHITECTURE LECTURE: Principals of three architecture firms from Canada, recognized for their innovative uses of wood and wood products, will be featured when the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning presents its 2010 Canadian Wood Lectures at 5:30 p.m. today in 301 Crosby Hall, UB South Campus. LEE OFFICE HOURS: A member of the staff of Rep. Chris Lee, R-Clarence, will be available today for one-on-one meetings to answer questions, assist with problems between constituents and federal agencies, and hear opinions on national issues in two locations: 9 to 10:30 a.m., Akron Village Hall, 21 Main St., Akron; 3:30 to 5 p.m., Wyoming County Government Center, 143 North Main St., Warsaw.

MEETING PLANNING SEMINAR: The Buffalo Niagara Convention and Visitors Bureau is hosting a free seminar on conference, retreat or family reunion planning from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Frank E. SHERIFF'S FOOD COLLECTION: The Erie County Sheriff's Office Mounted Reserve and the Food Bank of Western New York will sponsor the annual "Mounted for Meals Campaign" from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday outside the Broadway Market. Reserve deputies alongside their horses will be collecting perishable and nonperishable food items as well as cash donations to benefit the Food Bank of Western New York.
