The Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society is hosting a "House Restoration Fair" on Saturday for those looking to restore an architectural beauty, keep an old home together, reuse salvaged materials or just recreate old space.
Guests will have the opportunity to speak with craftsmen,
artisans, material suppliers, and contractors at display tables and also see
presentations of first-hand experiences from local carpenters, homeowners, and

12:30 p.m.: Architects provide solutions: solutions to house design dilemmas
Questions regarding masonry, carpentry, glass tiling, and painting
are encouraged. Program Coordinator Kathleen Vogel Matthews said guests are
invited to bring their own blueprints as well.

General admission is $8 and $6 for Historical Society
members. Admission includes access to all of the museum exhibits throughout the
day. The event will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
