Clarence-based real estate developer North Forest Office Providers is expanding its small presence in the Denver market, launching two new projects near the Mile High City.
North Forest, known for affordable, upscale commercial offices with peaked roofs, is starting construction on a third building in its NorthRidge Commons office park development in the Denver suburb of Westminster, offering a total of 11,780 square feet.
The new building, which will be ready for occupancy in a few months, joins two previously completed phases that are already leased. The park opened in 2008.
The company is also starting development of an office park on a newly acquired six-acre property in Commerce City, north of Denver. Plans call for six one-story buildings with a total of 54,684 square feet of professional office space, to be ready in the fourth quarter.
North Forest already operates the Telluride Business Park in Brighton, Colo., and is seeking to grow in response to changes in demand it has seen in that market over the past two years.
Founded in 1987, North Forest, which has 13 office parks with more than 350,000 square feet of leased space in Western New York, specializes in affordable office space for small businesses, entrepreneurs, branch offices and medical practices, usually seeking 5,000 square feet or less.
"Our long-term strategy is to position our properties and provide office solutions in growth areas," company founder and owner Roy Jordan said. "We have seen tremendous response to our earlier projects in the Denver market and are excited about the opportunity to expand our presence in that marketplace."
