VALAURI - Fadra Born Fadra Tzetzo in Korce, Albania on February 19th, 1921, she immigrated to Buffalo, NY in 1925 where she graduated from Hutchinson Central High School in 1939 and from the University of Buffalo in 1943 Magna Cum Laude in Economics. She then helped manage the family business, Tzetzo Brothers Inc. in Buffalo until she married fellow Albanian Christy Valauri and moved to New York City in 1949. She moved to Seattle with her husband in 1991. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth, with son-in-law Ivan, and two grandchildren, Christopher and Alexis, all of Seattle, and her son, John, with daughter-in-law Mary, and grandchild, Anne, all of Cincinnati; she is also survived by her brother Dimitri of Buffalo; she is preceded in death by her husband Christy, sister, Mary, and brother Perry. Fadra is remembered fondly by those who knew her as an incredibly kind and gentle person, who brought joy to many with her presence. She died peacefully in the company of her family on the Vernal Equinox, March 20th. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 24th at 12 Noon, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Seattle.
