BLOOD DRIVE: Georgetown Capital Group, as part of its continuing commitment to community involvement, will sponsor a blood drive with Upstate New York Transplant Services from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today in its offices, 5350 Main St., Williamsville.

LEE MEETINGS: Niagara County residents will have three chances to interact with Rep. Chris Lee, R-Clarence, or his staff this week. Lee will hold a town meeting by telephone at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, taking calls from constituents who sign up at his Web site, chrislee.house.gov. A Lee staffer will be in North Tonawanda Public Library, 505 Meadow Drive, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesday and in the Wheatfield Community Center, 2790 Church Road, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday. On both occasions, the staff member will take opinions on national issues and try to help with problems residents may be having with federal agencies. No appointments are needed.

FARMERS' MARKET PLANNING MEETING: An informational planning meeting for the Alden Farmers' Market's 2010 season will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, in the Community Center, Town Park, 13116 W. PASSPORT SEMINAR: The Muslim Public Affairs Council of Western New York is sponsoring a seminar on passports, green card renewal and becoming an American citizen at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in River Rock Church, 184 Barton St. The event will feature speakers from federal agencies. FALL-PREVENTION SEMINAR: The Greenfield Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic and Wellness Center and Learning Partners will offer a free fall-prevention seminar from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Greenfield Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, 5949 Broadway, Lancaster. Individuals and family members will learn how to predict and prevent falls and can choose to be screened for existing fall risk factors.
