Students in Haiti, at Nichols sit down to chat

4:47 p.m. update: Here's a video of some of today's videoconference at Nichols School:

1:13 p.m.: More than 50 eighth graders at Nichols School participated in a videoconference with students in Haiti this afternoon.

From inside the Class of 1963 Center for Math and Science on the Amherst Street campus, the students listened to stories from earthquake survivors and were part exchanges among students from across North America.

The event, coordinated by Global Nomads Group, was part of a partnership between the Bezos Family Foundation and Architecture for Humanity known as Students Rebuild.

Check back soon for video from the event.
