Anaheim 5, Colorado 2: Teemu Selanne became the 18th member of the 600-goal club, scoring 34 seconds into the second period during a power play for the Ducks. Selanne is the fourth player to reach the milestone in the last four seasons, along with Jaromir Jagr, Brendan Shanahan and Joe Sakic.

Atlanta 3, Philadelphia 1: Ondrej Pavelec made 44 saves, Ron Hainsey, Todd White and Rich Peverley scored, and the Threshers moved within a point of eighth-place Boston in the Eastern Conference.

Florida 5, Tampa Bay 2: Nathan Horton, David Booth and Cory Stillman scored in the first period and the Panthers snapped a three-game losing streak.

Phoenix 3, Dallas 2 (SO): Adrian Aucoin scored in the fourth round of the shootout and the Coyotes matched a franchise record with their ninth straight victory.

Nashville 3, St. Louis 2: Defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo had a goal and assist for the Blues, who fell to an NHL-worst 12-18-5 at home with a setback that could be devastating to faint playoff hopes.

Minnesota 4, Calgary 3: Josh Harding stopped 29 shots to win his ninth game of the season and move the Wild within seven points of the eighth-place Detroit Red Wings. Calgary lost Daymond Langkow, its third-leading scorer, when he was hit in the back of the neck with a shot in the second period. Langkow left the ice on a stretcher.

Edmonton 5, San Jose 1: Devan Dubnyk made 27 saves for his second straight victory for the Oilers. The Sharks, coming off road losses at Vancouver and Calgary, are 0-5-1 in their last six games.



Portland 2, Manchester 1: Mark Mancari scored both goals and Nathan Gerbe recorded two assists as the Pirates extended their point streak to five games.
