>Buffalo Chili Fest will debut April 11
We've had contests to determine who makes the best chicken wings hereabouts, but who cooks up the best chili?
That will be decided at the first Buffalo Chili Fest, sponsored by Web Art Designs and People Inc. from 2 to 6 p.m. April 11 in D'Arcy McGee's Irish Pub, 257 Franklin St. Those attending will cast votes for the area's champion chili chef.
The contest is open to all area restaurants and anyone with original recipes. Entry fee is $100. Chili will be sampled through ticket purchases, which can be redeemed by chili chefs at the end of the day. Admission is $5, and tickets for chili samples are $5 for five tickets. All proceeds benefit People Inc.
To enter, contact Jim Breidenstein at 674-0870 or e-mail Jim@webartdesigns.com. For information, visit www.buffalochilifest.com.
