'Passion of Jesus'

The "Passion of Jesus," a musical living prayer performed by students, will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Margaret Catholic Church, 1395 Hertel Ave. Admission is free.


Women's conference

The annual Walterine Stribling Women's Conference, sponsored by the Great Lakes Baptist Association, Women's Auxiliary, will be held April 3 in Macedonia Baptist Church, 237 East North St.

Deadline for mail-in registration is Friday. Fee is $25.

The theme of the conference is "Christian Women Under Construction." Keynote speaker is the Rev. Gloria Bryant of Calvary Baptist Church.


Concert series starts

The Canisius College Chorale, led by Frank Scinta, will launch its 2010 "Sacred Spaces" concert series with a program at 7:30 p.m. Monday in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 5480 Main St., Williamsville.

The concert will feature works by Mendelssohn, Hogan, Bernstein, Hovland, Dawson and others. Admission is free.


Leadership institute

Calvary Baptist Church's annual Leadership Institute will run from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday in the church, 1184 Genesee St.

Theme is "The Heavenly Vision and the Message of the Church." Call 895-3642.


Church tour set

St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church will sponsor a bus trip April 1 to seven magnificent churches throughout Buffalo.

The bus will leave at 8:30 p.m. from the church parking lot at 500 Parker Ave. Cost is $10. Reserve a spot by calling 834-6688.
