St. Louis 4, N.Y. Rangers 3: Paul Kariya scored his 400th NHL goal to snap a third-period tie and the Blues took advantage of an uncharacteristically shaky Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist.

Carolina 4, Washington 3 (OT): Ray Whitney scored at 4:02 of overtime for the Hurricanes. The Capitals played without captain and scoring leader Alex Ovechkin, serving the second of a two-game suspension.

Atlanta 6, Ottawa 3: Nik Antropov and Colby Armstrong scored two goals apiece for the Thrashers. The Senators fell to 1-6-1 since the Olympic break.

Toronto 2, New Jersey 1 (SO): Phil Kessel scored in regulation and in a shootout to help the Maple Leafs win for the fifth time in six games.

Phoenix 4, Florida 3 (SO): Lauri Korpikoski and Radim Vrbata scored in the shootout for the Coyotes, who won their franchise-record 44th game.

Nashville 5, Minnesota 0: Pekka Rinne made 17 saves for his fifth shutout of the season for the Predators.

Philadelphia 3, Dallas 2: Scott Hartnell scored the tiebreaking goal in the third period and the Flyers dealt a blow to the Stars' playoff chances.

Vancouver 3, San Jose 2: Alexander Elder, Ryan Kesler and Ryan Johnson scored for the Canucks, who handed the Sharks their third straight loss.

Chicago at Los Angeles: Blackhawks defenseman Brian Campbell will miss seven weeks with a broken collarbone and rib.

Anaheim Ducks: Defenseman James Wisniewski was suspended for eight games without pay for delivering a hit to the head area of Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook during Wednesday's win for the Ducks.
