MISSOURI 86, CLEMSON 78

How Missouri Won: In an up-and-down affair featuring two teams nicknamed "Tigers", Missouri used an 18-5 second-half run to turn a three-point deficit into a 10-point lead. Clemson never caught up.

Turning Point: Guard Kim English canned two three-pointers in a 60-second span as the Tigers scored seven straight points to take the lead for good, 54-50.

Player of the Game: Missouri forward Keith Ramsey had a career-high 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting, and also added eight rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Stat of the Game: Missouri had a 20-5 bulge in points off turnovers. Mizzou committed just nine while Clemson was charged with 20.

They Said It: "we scored 86 points but only had nine turnovers. That's efficient basketball." -- Missouri coach Mike Anderson.

In the House: Attendance for the afternoon session was 18,653
