Endion Hospitalist Systems, an Orchard Park-based hospitalist program, named Dr. Stephen P. Sorrentino a hospitalist at Sisters Hospital's St. Joseph Campus in Cheektowaga. Endion has provided hospitalist services at the St. Joseph Campus since July 2009. Sorrentino is a University at Albany graduate and earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He completed his residency at North Shore University Hospital/New York University School of Medicine.

Absolut Care Facilities Management appointed Stacey Wawrzyniec relationship manager for Absolut Care of Aurora Park. Wawrzyniec, previously the Western New York division director of the March of Dimes, is a graduate of Nazareth College of Rochester. Absolut Care Facilities Management, located in East Aurora, operates 11 short- and long-term care facilities as well as one adult assisted-living community.

Phillips Lytle attorney Timothy W. Hoover was selected to serve as a member of the Judiciary Committee of the Bar Association of Erie County for a one-year term. The Judiciary Committee investigates and evaluates the qualifications of candidates for judicial office in Erie County.
