News Business Reporter Samantha Maziarz Christmann reports today that Wegmans has scrapped a controversial plan to relocate a Transit Road store from Amherst to Clarence.

And the Lake Shore Central School District voted unanimously Tuesday night to close two of the district's five elementary schools. Lake Shore is one of five local districts considering closing buildings as Albany's budget mess trickles down to schools.
