SCHULTZ - Janet A. Age 90, of Ransomville, NY, March 14, 2010 at DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born in Lewiston on November 13, 1919, the daughter of the late Erwin and Florence Schultz Goodman. She graduated from Youngstown High School in 1937. Janet was a registered nurse, having graduated from the Deaconess School of Nursing in 1941. She served in the US Army as a nurse and Second Lieutenant with the 23rd General Hospital in the European Theater serving in Italy, North Africa and France during WW II. She married Russell Schultz on December 27, 1952. He predeceased her on March 2, 1999. Also predeceased by a sister, Ruth Reedy, and a brother, Gordon Goodman. She is survived by four children, Jeffry (Claire) Schultz of Ransomville, Timothy (Lisa) Schultz of Ransomville, Clayton Schultz of Albuquerque, NM and Martha Schultz of North Tonawanda; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Lucus Schultz, one brother, Malcolm (Betty) Goodman of Lockport; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Upper Mountain Rd., Pekin, on Friday from 9-10 AM, where funeral services will be held at 10 AM with Rev. R. Vogeler officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Cambria. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Ransomville Fire Co., Niagara Hospice or DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility gratefully accepted.
