AERO CLUB DINNER: The Aero Club of Buffalo will hold a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday in Protocol Restaurant, 6766 Transit Road, Amherst. Dinner will be served at 7. The program includes a DVD presentation of the attack on Hiroshima on Aug. 6, 1945, and a live conversation with Maj. Theodore "Dutch" Van Kirk, the navigator on the Enola Gay. The cost is $20. OLMSTED CONCERT: Party Squad will perform classic rock from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Marcy Casino, located in Delaware Park across from Albright-Knox Art Gallery. The concert, part of a series benefiting the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, is free for Olmsted members and $5 for nonmembers. The series is being presented by the conservancy and Dent Neurologic Institute.

INTERNATIONAL TASTING: Trinity Catholic Academy will host the Taste of Trinity from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the school, 16 Hayden St. Each classroom will be transformed into a country of the students' choosing. For $7 the night of the event, participants get a passport, that allows them to taste different foods based on the country the classroom is representing. Additional tickets may be purchased for 25 cents a taste. For information, or to purchase a passport for $5 in advance, contact the main office at 822-4546.

DIGITAL AUDIO BOOK TRAINING: Prendergast Library, 509 Cherry St., Jamestown, will offer free classes on how to download digital audio books to a computer and transfer them to a portable device from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Monday. Call 484-7135, Ext. 225, to register.
