CHEEKTOWAGA -- Sabres fans have made a beeline to the television this afternoon for Miller time.
Sabres goalie Ryan Miller made his Olympic debut as the U.S. men's hockey team takes on Switzerland in the tournament kickoff. At the end of the second period, the U.S. led 3-0.
Cheektowaga resident Ron Reed, 27, made sure to grab a booth with a television during a late lunch at T.G.I. Friday's to see Miller play. Reed said he's only missed about five Sabres games this year and wanted to see Miller play on a different stage.
"I hope that he pulls USA through," Reed said.

Patrick Myers, 22, said he wants to see how Sabres players on different Olympic teams interact. Henrik Tallinder, Toni Lydman, Jochen Hecht and Andrej Sekera will also play in Vancouver.
"I'd like to see what they can do," Myers said. "And it would be interesting if they have to go up against the U.S. and shoot on Miller. That would be fun to see."
