An Olean woman who sold heroin was sentenced Monday in Cattaraugus County Court to serve two years in prison.
Jennifer L. Barnes, 28, was sentenced by Judge Larry M. Himelein for her guilty plea to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance Oct. 22 in the City of Olean. She also faces one year of post-release supervision after serving at least six-sevenths of her sentence.
Ryan E. John, 23, of Olean was sentenced to one to three years in prison and was fined $2,000 for a conviction of driving while intoxicated April 25, 2008, in the City of Olean.
Frederick L. Colburn, 30, of Delevan was sentenced to serve two consecutive one-year terms in the county jail for his conviction of two counts of endangering the welfare of a child between December 2007 and January 2008 in the Village of Delevan involving a person under age 17.
District Attorney Edward M. Sharkey said several others entered guilty pleas and will be sentenced Nov. 30.
Brian C. Bunker, 29, of Olean pleaded guilty to DWI March 28 in the City of Olean while driving with a blood-alcohol count of 0.21 percent.
Charles F. McDade, 59, of Olean pleaded guilty to third-degree attempted burglary and third-degree assault Dec. 9 in the Town of Olean when he entered a building and injured a person.
Samuel L. McKenney, 28, of Buffalo pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance Sept. 25, 2008, in the City of Olean.
Jeffrey L. Campbell Jr., 25, of Mayville pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child Oct. 31 in the Town of Carrollton.
Steven Bates, 23, of Cattaraugus pleaded guilty to DWI and driving without a license June 20 in the Town of Napoli.
Steven M. Daniels, 25, of Cattaraugus pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance June 6, 2007, in the City of Olean.
Several others will be sentenced Jan. 4:
*Danielle N. Braun, 23, of Randolph pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted forgery and third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle July 28, 2008, in the Town of Randolph.
*Joshua L. Stebbins, 17, of Eldred, Pa., pleaded guilty to first-degree attempted criminal possession of a forged instrument March 20 in the City of Olean involving a forged $100 bill.
*Douglas C. Carnahan, 20, no address, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree conspiracy Oct. 9 in the Town of Allegany in a planned theft from Domino's Pizza.
