CEPA Gallery, an arts center dedicated to the photo-related and electronic arts located in the Market Arcade Complex, Buffalo, named Dr. Stephanie Pincus to its board of directors. Pincus is a nationally recognized health care physician and the founding director of the RAISE Project, a national awards and clearinghouse and Web site dedicated to recognizing the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine.

Medaille College named Joe Flateau webmaster in the College Relations Office. He previously served in its Information Technology Office. Also, the college named Summer Handzlik staff associate in the College Relations Office. She is a graduate of Medaille College with a bachelor's degree in communication.

Inergex, a Buffalo-based professional IT services company, appointed Scott Strang a notes delivery manager for the Inergex Praxair Account team.

Niagara's Choice Federal Credit Union recently offered $50 for classroom supplies to the first 50 Niagara County elementary school teachers who describe how they incorporate financial literacy in their teaching. This is the fifth year the credit union has made this offer.
