Anne Marie Perusich, a retired motel owner who was a longtime volunteer at her church, died Thursday in DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility, North Tonawanda. She was 94.
Formerly of Buffalo, Mrs. Perusich was born in Cayuga, Ont., grew up in Riverside and was a graduate of Riverside High School.
Her family owned and operated Jack's Motel on Niagara Falls Boulevard for many years before selling the business in the mid-1960s.
For decades, she helped the needy as a volunteer at All Saints Catholic Church, where she was active in the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Mothers Club, Altar and Rosary Society and Senior Citizens Club. She also was a member of the Helping Hands of Our Lady of Victory Basilica, Bishop Home & Family Society and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary 3076.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Kempf and Barbara Stones; a son, John; and a sister, Kathleen Redden.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in All Saints Church, 205 Esser Ave.
