Orlando remembers 1958 Bulls

Get-attachment.aspx

UB's 1958 football is being welcomed with open arms by the city of Orlando. Thanks to Orange County mayor Richard Crotty, Central Florida and Florida Citrus
Sports, 36 members of the '58 team will be honored at halftime of
Saturday’s game.

The '58 Bulls won the Lambert Cup and were invited to play in the Tangerine Bowl. However, the team declined the invitation when it learned its two African-American players, Willie Evans and Mike Wilson, would not be allowed to play.
