Two plead guilty in separate drug cases

LOCKPORT -- Two Lockport men pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance in separate cases Wednesday before Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III, who is to sentence both men Nov. 25.

William R. Richter, 32, of Prospect Street, sold heroin to a police informant here Aug. 5, 2008. Johnny Rosado, 34, of Locust Street Extension, sold oxycodone to an undercover officer in the Town of Lockport April 23, 2008.

Plea of not guilty entered to underage-sex charge

LOCKPORT -- A Ransomville man pleaded not guilty Wednesday in Niagara County Court to a charge of having sex with an underage girl last November in the Town of Porter.

Zackery A. Rogers, 19, of Ransomville Road, denied an indictment accusing him of second-degree rape.
