>18-year-old accused of sex with Corfu teen

CORFU -- Corfu village police have arrested an 18-year-old man accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl late Sunday.

Officers charged Billy Joe Budziszewski, of no permanent address, with second-degree rape, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to police reports.

Budziszewski was arraigned in Corfu Village Court and ordered held in Genesee County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

>Murder suspects sent photos of scene, police say

BRADFORD, Pa. -- Police said two men accused of killing a pregnant woman in a Bradford rooming house Sunday had sent graphic photos of the scene to the victim's sister in California.

The McKean County coroner has ruled the death of Megan Konopka, 21, a homicide. Autopsy results are pending.

Bradford police charged Thomas Haggie, 30, who rented the room in Riddell House, and Greggory Theobald, 20, of Elmira, in the slaying. Police say Konopka's sister alerted them after Haggie called Sunday night and sent her two cell phone pictures of the scene.

>Clarence man charged in attack on woman

Erie County sheriff's deputies arrested a Clarence man accused of beating and dragging a woman and cutting her blouse during a domestic incident Monday.

Deputies charged Gordon M. Ewing, 48, with third-degree assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon, a knife they said was used to cut her blouse.

The victim suffered minor injuries to her face and back, according to police reports.

Ewing was taken to the Erie County Holding Center on no bail, pending his arraignment in Clarence Town Court.
