The Allentown Association's 2009 "Secrets of Allentown" tour will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Starting point is the carriage house at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site, 641 Delaware Ave., where booklets and tickets ($20) will be available. African Violet & Gesneriad Society of Western New York will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Depew High School cafeteria, 5201 Transit Road, Depew. Activities include a leaf exchange, blossom show, mini-program on a gesneriad genus, repotting station and the featured program, "Propagation of African Violets & Gesneriads." All welcome.
