Clemson scored 27 straight points at one point in the game. It took its first lead of the night on Richard Jackson's 53-yard field goal with 11:33 to go.
Colorado at Toledo (9 p.m., ESPN): Colorado's Cody Hawkins was 24 for 40 for 222 yards in an opening loss. Toledo dropped a 52-31 decision to Purdue in Tim Beckman's debut as the Rockets' head coach.
