Joseph L. Sicurella of Kenmore, a manager at Summit Distributors for more than 35 years, died Sunday in the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, Cheektowaga, after a long illness. He was 74.
A Buffalo native, he graduated from Bennett High School and served in the Army during the Korean War. From 1958 until he retired in 1995, he worked at Summit Distributors.
An avid hunter, Mr. Sicurella enjoyed the outdoors, playing cards and putting together jigsaw puzzles. He was a member of Brounshidle Post 205, American Legion; the Grand Island Rod & Gun Club; and the Holy Name Society of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, the former Theresa Kaczmarowski; a daughter, Donna Biggie; a son, Thomas; a sister, Lucille Maira; and a brother, Leonard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. John the Baptist Church, 1085 Englewood Ave., Town of Tonawanda.
