District appreciates DelMonte for aid effort
The Niagara Falls City School District and the Board of Education wish to extend sincere thanks to Assemblywoman Francine DelMonte, who has secured $150,000 in unrestricted aid for the district.
The district will allocate some of the funds for educational programming and services to challenged individuals at CVRC and Opportunities Unlimited, as well as increasing services for our Primary Enhancement Program. Ultimately, these funds will be spent in the manner that most benefits students young and old.
The Board of Education and district administration continue to work diligently to provide the best education in the most fiscally sound manner to all our students. Through consolidation of schools and administrative buildings and streamlining purchasing procedures, we have been able to hold the line on taxes even in these difficult economic times. Funds like those secured by Assemblywoman DelMonte are extremely helpful in helping us to offer all students the very best we can.
