JOINT OFFICE HOURS: The offices of Rep. Chris Lee, R-Clarence, State Sen. Michael H. Ranzenhofer, R-Amherst, and Assemblyman Steve Hawley, D-Albion, will hold the fifth in a series of office hours for Genesee County residents from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the conference room of the Old Court House, 7 Main St., Batavia. Representatives will be on hand to help Genesee County residents expedite interactions with local, state and federal agencies.

PHOTO WORKSHOP: The Twin Cities Camera Club will host a workshop for digital photographers of all experience levels, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in North Tonawanda Public Library, 505 Meadow Drive. Get tips from the pros on a wide range of digital topics, from understanding the buttons and dials on your camera to storing and sharing images. JOB FAIR: State Sen. Antoine M. Thompson, D-Buffalo, will hold a "fall into success" job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday in Pratt-Willert Community Center, 422 Pratt St. The fair will feature jobs from more than 50 companies for all age groups. There also is free on-site resume help. Those interested should wear appropriate attire and bring at least 25 copies of their resume. For more information, call 854-8705.

MISS BUFFALO SAILS: The Hamburg Natural History Society will conduct its 13th annual Miss Buffalo Nature Cruise and Buffalo Lighthouse Tour on Saturday. Tour guides will discuss the local geology, including the formation of the Great Lakes and Niagara River, fisheries, aquatic biology, birding and historic points of interest. After the cruise, there will be a tour of the Buffalo Lighthouse. Limited space is available and bookings should be made soon. There is a discount for society members. UKRAINIAN FEST: The annual Ukrainian Festival will be held from noon to 8 p.m. next Sunday at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 3275 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore. Featured are favorite Ukrainian ethnic foods including pierogi, cabbage rolls, sauerkraut and kielbasa, as well as barbecued chicken dinners and baked goods. The festival also features entertainment, including traditional Ukrainian dance performers, Ukrainian singers and a live band.

AGENCY FAIR: Agency Fair will be held during Fredonia High School's open house from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sept. 16 in the Intermediate Library. The event is planned for parents of high school students with disabilities, particularly those nearing graduation age. On hand will be representatives from Social Security, Aspire and other agencies helping the transition to adulthood.
