Park 'Tempest' Shakespeare festival releases its summer schedule

In the last two years, Shakespeare in Delaware Park has had its share of weather issues, with rain shutting down or delaying several performances of the theater company's recent productions of "King Lear" and the "The Merry Wives of Windsor."

But this coming summer, the storm will come on purpose as SDP mounts its planned production of "The Tempest" from June 18 to July 12. The second and final play in the 2009 season is a production of the beloved tragedy "Julius Caesar," from July 23 to Aug. 16. This will mark the fourth production of "The Tempest" and third of "Julius Caesar" in the company's 34-year history
