David Archuleta, who developed a huge and enthusiastic fan following after finishing second to David Cook in last season's "American Idol," will play a sold-out show Tuesday night at Club Infinity (8166 Main St., Williamsville).
"The show sold out in minutes" when tickets went on sale in late January, according to David B. Taylor, one of the show's promoters.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Club Infinity has very few seats, and tickets are general admission.
Billed as "David Archuleta and special guests," the concert is expected to include many tunes from his self-titled debut album, which debuted at the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200 chart in November. His first single, "Crush," is on the set list he has used on this tour, as well as "Barriers," "I'm Yours," "Angels," "Waiting for Yesterday" and "A Little Too Not Over You."
Archuleta last appeared in Western New York in early December, when he headlined the Kissmas Bash at a nearly sold-out HSBC Arena.
