BUFFALO FOR AFRICA: Women high school age and older are invited to a Women's Conference of Buffalo for Africa from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 28 at Rich's Atrium. YOUTH AWARDS: Family Voices Network of Erie County is seeking nominations for Youth Recognition Awards to honor youths 13 to 17 who have overcome obstacles in their lives or improved their attitudes toward family and/or school. Nominations can be made by after-school programs, parents, counselors, Family Court, etc. The information will not be made public. Deadline is March 6. KIDWIND CHALLENGE: Build a better wind turbine, and the world will beat a path to your door. That's the challenge to middle and high school students in a KidWind Challenge competition funded with a $25,000 grant from the State Energy Research and Development Authority.
