6 felony charges leveled in alleged shotgun threat

A Buffalo man faces numerous charges, including six felonies, after police said he tried to rob a man after an argument about marijuana and money in a home near Kensington and Bailey avenues.

Gerald E. Hogue, 28, of Copsewood Avenue, threatened to shoot another man with a sawed-off shotgun in his home Sunday night after demanding $1,000 from the other man, according to a Buffalo police report.

Hogue was charged with attempted first-degree robbery, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.
