Barber shop client accused of robbing it later in day

A 20-year-old Hamburg man has been arrested on charges he robbed an Orchard Park barber the same day he got a haircut there.

Rynell P. Bradford, of Lake Heights Drive, was arrested at 11 a.m. Saturday, Orchard Park police said Monday.

Bradford had gone to Ricci's Barber Shop, 3900 Southwestern Blvd., for a haircut Friday, then returned just after 3:30 p.m. and demanded cash from the register, police said.

He then pushed an employee, causing the worker to suffer a cut to his face.

Bradford was charged with third-degree robbery and second-degree harassment.

A witness provided investigators with a partial license plate number, which led them to Bradford, police said.

Police did not disclose how much cash Bradford is accused of taking from the business.
