Kinsley Power Systems, a distributor for Kohler generators, named Jed M. Ishtiyyeh a generator technician at its Buffalo location, 2205 Kenmore Ave. Ishtiyyeh has more than 16 years of electrical and mechanical experience.

Delaware North Cos. Parks and Resorts, a Buffalo-headquartered food service and hospitality provider, appointed William Moore chief operating officer of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Moore has more than 30 years of experience in the entertainment and tourism industry. He most recently served as the president and CEO of Independence Visitor Center Corporation in Philadelphia.

NCAComp Inc., a third-party administrator of insured and self-insured workers' compensation and disability benefits program in Buffalo, named Erin Gregory a sales representative. Gregory is a graduate of Tufts University with a degree in international relations and international economics.

Kideney Architects, a Buffalo area design and architectural firm, appointed Tracy Conhiser-Uy an associate. Conhiser-Uy, a licensed architect, has more than 11 years of design and planning experience. She is a graduate of the University at Buffalo's School of Architecture with a masters in architecture.

The Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce named Tony McKenna, CEO of Wendel Companies, Business Person of the Year. Other Chamber awardees: The Business of the Year, Briody Lifestyle Communities; The Visionary Award, Niagara County Community College; The Community Advocate Award, Community Missions of the Niagara Frontier; The Chairman's Award, Gary Strenkoski, Strenkoski Brothers Construction Co.; and Leadership Niagara will receive special recognition for 25 years of bringing together current and emerging leaders of diverse backgrounds to assume leadership roles in their communities. The awards will be presented at the Chamber's Annual Dinner on Saturday at the Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel.

The Williamsville accounting and tax firm Thomas E. Gantress, C.P.A. successfully completed a peer review of its accounting practice in accordance with standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The firm received an unmodified opinion, the highest result obtainable.

Linde North America, a member of The Linde Group, a gases and engineering company, received certification of its Buffalo air separation plant under the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care Program through an independent, accredited auditor, Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance. Certification is mandatory for all ACC member companies, which must undergo headquarter and facility audits by an independent, accredited auditor to verify that they have a structure and system in place that manages and measures performance. Responsible Care is a globally recognized management system aimed at helping companies improve performance in areas such as safety, health, environment and security.
