COLOMBIAN ORPHANS PROGRAM: Baker Victory Services will hold a free seminar from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in its offices at 780 Ridge Road, Lackawanna, for those interested in hosting a child from Colombia this summer. Orphans from Colombia, who range in age from 8 to 13 and include sibling groups, will stay in area homes for an American experience. For details, call 828-9636.

MARILLA SENIORS PARTY: The Marilla Senior Citizens will hold its Valentine's Party at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the Marilla Community Center, Two Rod Road. The original party was canceled due to bad weather. An event calendar for the upcoming year will be available at the party.

ARTIST EXHIBITION: St. Bonaventure University's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts will host an art opening and benefit auction at 6 p.m. Thursday. The exhibit will feature the art of fourth- and fifth-graders who are part of the project "Art From the Heart," which links Washington West Elementary School with a school and orphanage in Uganda.

GILDA'S CLUB LECTURE: Gilda's Club of Western New York will host a presentation by Jennifer Hydeman, psychologist from Roswell Park Cancer Institute, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the club, 1140 Delaware Ave. The discussion will focus on how to be supportive when loved ones with cancer live far away. RELAY FOR LIFE KICKOFF PARTY: The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life is hosting a kickoff party at 7 p.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church, 474 E. Main St., Springville. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Relay for Life. Teams of people from all walks of life run or walk to raise funds to fight cancer and raise awareness of cancer prevention and treatment.
