Aaron Goldfarb, a retired local attorney, died Sunday at his home in Orchard Park. He was 82.
Born in Buffalo, he was a graduate of Fosdick-Masten Park High School. He served in the Army during World War II and was stationed in the Philippines.
He was a graduate of the University of Buffalo and the University of Buffalo Law School.
Mr. Goldfarb worked for the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo and several local law firms. In 1983, he opened his own law firm, handling criminal, matrimonial and bankruptcy cases.
Mr. Goldfarb was a member of the Buffalo Tennis & Squash Club and the Lederhosen Ski Club. He enjoyed golfing.
Surving is his wife of 25 years, Carol McCarthy Goldfarb.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today in Thomas H. McCarthy Funeral Home, 250 Orchard Park Road, West Seneca.
