IDA to discuss hiring of new executive director

SALAMANCA -- The Salamanca Industrial Development Agency will hold a special meeting Thursday to hire a new executive director.

Mayor Jeffrey Pond, a board member, said former director David K. Sengbusch, an Erie County resident, resigned Feb. 17. He began the position in September.

Pond said Matt Bull of Machias, who served as director before Sengbusch, has agreed to return as director. Bull resigned last year to take a state job.

The board is expected to set a salary for Bull around $55,000.
