STAMP EXHIBITION: The Niagara Philatelic Society is holding its annual stamp exhibition from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Stamford Lions Club, 3846 Portage Road, Niagara Falls, Ont. The exhibit includes stamps from around the world, the Niagara Region and more. Collectors and dealers are welcome to buy, sell or trade stamps. Admission is free. DRIVING CLASS: A New York State-approved defensive-driving class will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in UAW Hall, 524 Walnut St., Lockport. GIANT AUCTION: The West Seneca Satellite of the Variety Club Telethon will hold a giant auction, including games and food, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday in the Vigilant Fire Hall, 666 Main St. Proceeds benefit Women and Children's Hospital, Robert Warner Rehabilitation Center and other children's charities.

AWARDS PARTY: Salvatore's Italian Gardens will host Buffalo's official Oscar Night America Party from 6 p.m. to midnight Sunday. It is sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
