There will be something old and something new from a Buffalo Bandits' perspective when it comes to the Eastern Conference reserves for the NLL All-Star game. John Tavares and Roger Vyse have been named to the squad.
It almost wouldn't be an All-Star game without Tavares, who as usual is in the top 10 in the league in goals and points. This will be his eighth All-Star game. Vyse will be playing for the first time. His six-goal performance last week against Toronto moved him to 16 goals on the season.
The Bandits will have five players in the game, which will be held in Denver on March 7.
Meanwhile, the team has announced that it will wear its "third jerseys" on February 28 against the Minnesota Swarm, March 28 against the New York Titans and April 18 against the Boston Blazers. The new uniforms debuted last week against Toronto.
