>Woman rams car, faces drunken driving charge
A Grand Island woman was charged with drunken driving early Sunday morning after she struck another vehicle with her car, Erie County sheriff's officials said.
Deputy Brian O'Hara charged Tonya Boyce, 43, of Ransom Road, at about 12:50 a.m. Sunday on Ransom Road. A breath test showed Boyce's blood-alcohol content was 0.24 percent, which is three times the legal limit, sheriff's officials said.
Boyce was released to another person and will appear in Grand Island Town Court at a later date.

NIAGARA FALLS -- A Buffalo man became irate Saturday afternoon over a food delivery, first arguing with the driver and then his mother before stabbing a neighbor who attempted to calm him down, police said.
Jeffrey B. Brocato, 40, of Tacoma Avenue, Buffalo, was charged with first-degree assault following the 4:15 p.m. incident at his mother's Caravelle Drive apartment.
Chad M. Paron, 43, also of Caravelle Drive, suffered multiple stab wounds but his injuries were not life-threatening, police said. He was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

Buffalo police are investigating the robbery of a Bailey Avenue convenience store Sunday morning.
The incident occurred at about 7:45 a.m. Sunday at the Wilson Farms store at 3428 Bailey, according to Buffalo police reports. The robber -- who was armed with some type of weapon -- made off with about $150 worth of property from the store.
>Man charged with DWI says he drank half a case of beer
TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- A man who admitted drinking half a case of beer while watching a hockey game at a friend's house in Akron was arrested while driving home to Gasport on Saturday night, Niagara County sheriff's deputies said.
David N. Baier, 49, of Mill Road, was stopped on South Transit Road near the Lockport Mall at about 11:30 p.m. Police said his car was swerving back and forth across the center line.
Baier, who was found to have a previous alcohol-related conviction in 2005, was charged with felony and aggravated driving while intoxicated, as well as failure to keep right. His blood-alcohol content was measured at 0.27, more than three times the legal limit.
>Robber snatches earrings from girl sitting in car
A bold robber reached into a car at Bailey and Kensington avenues Saturday and snatched a girl's earrings.
The juvenile girl, whose age was not disclosed, had the jewelry taken right from her ears, her mother told Buffalo police. The police report did not state the time of the robbery.
>Robbers take cash, drugs from home on 20th Street
NIAGARA FALLS -- A woman was robbed of $250 and a hefty stash of marijuana during an armed home invasion Saturday night, police said.
Two men burst into the home in the 400 block of 20th Street at about 8:40 p.m., pistol-whipping a Whitney Avenue resident while demanding drugs and money. The bandits, each with faces covered and one brandishing a handgun, confronted the 48-year-old homeowner and took her money, as well as a pound of marijuana and a triple-beam scale.
They also fled with a quantity of unidentified pills. A Lewiston woman outside the home was robbed of $200 by the fleeing pair.
>Two with gun rob man at Main, Kensington
A Buffalo man was held up at Main Street and Kensington Avenue Sunday.
The victim was approached by two males in their late teens or early 20s who displayed a silver handgun, according to police reports.
The two grabbed the man by the collar of his jacket, then snatched away a plastic bag that contained the man's wallet.
The robbers ran west on Humboldt Parkway, taking $275 in cash and the victim's credit card. Police reports did not indicate the time of the incident.
