Fortuna Sales and Marketing, BattleGreen FoodService and New Horizons, food brokerages in Upstate New York and New England, have merged to become Fusion Sales Group. The new company will provide food service customers with sales and supportive services across eight states: New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts. The company's offices are located in Elma, Syracuse and Albany; and in Lawrence and Stoughton in Massachusetts.

Tapecon Inc., a Buffalo-headquartered manufacturer of pressure-sensitive labels, decals, membrane switches, custom fabrications and digital printing, recently invested in the Xeikon 3300, a digital color label press. The Xeikon 3300 will enable the company to offer high-quality, short to medium runs with quicker turnarounds and cost savings to customers.
