So Brett Favre announced his retirement from the NFL today after this season -- and this time he means it for good. I know the cynical thing is to laugh it off and wait for him to change his mind, as he did a year ago. But I believe he's sincere this time. He came back to the Jets and was a miserable failure down the stretch. He lost his arm strength and dragged his team down in the playoff run. I doubt he wants to go through that again and further detract from his Hall of Fame career.
What do you think? Do you think Favre is done for good this time, or will he change his mind again when spring arrives and he starts to feel the itch to play football again?
